Default Power window issues

When I don't show her attention everyday she starts to act like a Bit**. So I get ready to take her out for an afternoon ride and the power windows won't work. Turn the engine off and key in accessory position and the Windows work...Whiskey Tango Fox!! Can anyone explain why??

Are both windows acting up or just one? If its just one, try swapping window switches around to see if you have an intermittent switch. The power to the windows flows through relay R22. You may want to pull that and check that the connectors are clean of corrosion. Also check your fuse for corrosion. If I were to guess, R22 may be starting to fail.

sounds like your problem is in the ignition switch. don't start the car and try wiggling the key to see If the windows work.

You can replace the relay with a wire link this means the windows are powered all the time and saves battery drain.
