Default Media-blasted suspension...

Looking for a little guidance and counsel. Having been inspired by many of you with your detailed suspension rebuilds I'm planning a similar project. I've recently acquired a used set of 993 uprights (not RS, will use the Elephant bump steer kit) and intend to media blast all of the aluminum bits. Looking for suggestions in processes to keep them looking pristine for as long as possible. Thanks in advance.

best I've encountered recently restoring 2 356s that sat for 30 years is vapor blasting ie glass bead in a cone of water vapor. the ali is perfectly clean and almost sealed in texture, not porous as with silica/sandblast - dirty/oily finger prints just wipe off instead of staining. Sonic washing wasn't as effective but I don't have access to an industrial one. Soda blaster also seems to give great results - I couldn't find one nearby.
