I doubt its a re-numbered part from somewhere else, its too similar, plus the Dansk part is also a little thicker/larger. A stock 993 condenser is the same dimensionally as the 964 stock part. Someone just has really dropped the ball on this. Griffiths claims to make a direct fit part but I have not seen it in person.

I ordered a Behr replacement evaporator and am waiting for it to arrive from Germany. Hopefully its the same the the original and not bigger like the condenser.
The Behr evaporator is identical to original. At least mine was. The condenser is the newer serpentine design. It fits but requires some slight bending of the lower part of the housing and the new condenser needs slight modification for the ballast resistor to mount to the original location.

My stock condenser was the newer serpentine design as well. You can see in the pictures posted last year as well as dimensions of the stock serpentine part in the previous posts on this thread.this thread. I got a newer unit from my buddy from a wrecked 993 and it was exactly the same dimensions as the 964 serpentine design. It is not identical to the original because the dimensions are larger and the bracket needed to be modified.

No there isn’t. The bracket was updated to fit the 993 bodywork only as I said earlier in this thread. I had both in my hands and there was no difference in the area where the condenser goes, only the area where it tucks up to the front bodywork.
Pictures of the only changes I made. I bent that lip slightly on the lower end so those bolts had room, and then I cut the mounting flange so the ballast resistor had relief to bolt down.
There are like (3) screws that attach the condenser to the bracket on top by the ballast resistor. Do they line up with the holes on the other side?
No they do not. I drilled one hole in the housing so that one of the holes on the flange of the condenser had a "spot". Then moved a speed nut to that hole. That condenser isn't going anywhere. All the friction holds it in and that one screw is sufficient.
By the way, when you put that condenser in, be VERY careful attaching the AC lines to the fittings on the coil. Make certain they are exactly lined up and tighten the fittings with your fingers all the way until the very last bit, then put on a wrench for the last quarter to half turm. Attach those fittings first and mount the condenser afterwards. The fittings on the condenser are aluminum and very soft. It is very, very easy to cross-thread. I got one started wrong and had to clean the very end of the threads up with a thread file, and still, it was difficult to get started correctly again.

The ill sized Behr unit is still lying around in my garage.
I wouldn't buy a Behr unless you get the place who is selling you the part to do a physical measure of the part first. Otherwise its a waste of time and money.
I received it, it definitely requires the bracket being trim and bent to fit as others have posted.
I was constrained for time the other day but got it all installed but was not satisfied with the angle of approach the fittings make. I left it loose in place and need to try again.
