We have been poring through Porsche documents and have confirmed that this car wore number 25 when it was prepared for the series.

Good luck with the sale. No one here would complain if you wanted to overload us with photos and info (hint)

No problem. This car was the number 25 car out of the original 25. It has only 1250 original miles. It is a part of Porsche history, and is in concours condition. We have tons of documentation.

Anyone follow this. I went on website and saw it did not sell. Anyone know what was the highest bid. Have idle curiosity as I sold my 964 cup a while ago. I see these astronomical prices and wonder if anyone actually sells at these prices.

Nice of them to include a second seat! They were originally built and sold with only one. And spares aren't cheap nor easy to come by.

Anywhere there are detailed photos of the underside of the car, specifically the exhaust?

Good question Super90.

Im fairly certain they ran the "Cup" pipe primary muffler delete and retained the secondary muffler. I assume they were sold with cats, but is it possible in original race spec they had cat bypasses? I would love to see the part number on the secondary muffler as well to confirm it's standard.

The cups were raced with a CAT. I can pull part #'s if anyone wants them. The US cups were never sold with race seats. All the race spec cars were reconverted back to street trim and sold as street cars.

What seats were they sold with?

I was told by a former 964 Cup owner and racer that he bought his new with the Porsche crested RS bucket Recaro from Porsche of Manhattan. But of course, only a single one. He was nice enough to sell me his spare, which he had to order after he bought the car and had installed for passengers.

Quick Reply: 92 964 RS cup. One of the original 25
