Default Case reseal without opening it.

Hi there,

I’m in the process of a top end rebuilt due to a head stud failure.

My car is from 1991, 145.000 kms, and was running perfectly.

I did use heat in the head stud removal process, and I am concert about the heat hurting the case seals.
I am not considering opening the case, so, question is:
Can I remove bolts that goes through the case to install new seals without opening the case?
