While replacing a burned backlight bulb in the dash i pulled out the rear wiper switch and taped off the connectors.

Plan is to put a 2 way (on-off) vs momentary switch in that spot to control the oil fan and run on high as needed. Needs to look good, doesn't have to look completely OEM.

The size of the existing switch is 12.68mm x 19.53mm

Anyone know if the rear wiper switch from the G body cars is an on/off or momentary like on the 964?

The switch you posted comes in SPDT if you think it'll fit.

This is a great idea if it's doable. I hate holding it down. In the 993, didn't they relocate the switch from the dash two the center console? If so, is that switch on/off vs "momentary on except when it's not?"

Replaced rear wiper switch with switch from 89 911, connected to ccu to trigger oil cooler high fan connected to wire G12 on ccu - part 91161332101

I've no idea if this switch would work to control the wiper. But it is a on off. Not momentary.

Worked for my use which is a manual high speed oil fan switch.
