Great question! They should be the early style as they came off my car with a build date of 10/89. Fronts are the same, but rear shocks changed somewhere around ~11/90.

Fronts are the same. Porsche made a running change ~11/90 and changed the heights of the rear mounts, so the shock height is different early vs late.
