Default RS Carpet with rear seats?

Has anyone installed RS carpet and kept option for rear seats? If so, would you please post pics with seats installed and not installed?
I'm interested in this approach with a bolt in Safety devices cage.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi, I've done it to some degree. I imagine you need to check the clearances between the foldable seat backs, mounting points and the cage. Also, you need to delete the carpet behind the seat backs that forms the parcel shelf when the seats are folded down. I used lightweight rear trim from 91 model year car in place of super heavy 89 model year and the RS carpet part but still might change it later. Finally, I opted to use the full RS carpet seat bottom replacement and converted my OEM bottoms to be removable when not used. I used spare carpet parts to trim the seat bottoms.

Pictures attached (sorry, not the greatest quality)

Thanks!
Andrew

Looks great ... I will go with a variation of that. Pics of the rear seat backs up and down would be great if you don't mind.
Thanks!

A jump seat with a roll bar or cage is an absolute no go, IMO.

IMO too ... that's why the roll cage would bolt in when seats are out.

Found this thread while searching. Is it possible to install the rear side panels back on with the RS carpet installed?
