Where is the ABS accelerometer located on a 1992 C2 cabriolet? I took the center console apart as per previous posts and there is nothing there but the airbag connectors and a relay. I was hoping to clean it for preventative maintenance after upgrading to the 993 master/booster. I searched and everything says a C4 has 2 sensors and a C2 has one. There are pictures showing the C4 locations but not the C2. Am I completely overlooking something here?

 

Your car has 1 lateral accelerometer, located on he right side of the center tunnel through the small access door. C4s have a 2nd longitudinal accelerometer.

 

Ok. Pretty sure:
C2 manual has no accelerometer
C2 tip has one
C4 has two

 

I looked behind that access panel and there is nothing but a relay and the airbag delete plug. No accelerometers. Mine is manual so I guess I'm good. Nothing to clean..
