Thanks, you are probably right, in fact they were in a bucket full of door stuff, butCan you please take a picture of the part you are referring to? I don't seem to find any screws like those in the PET diagrams for the doors or the door locks and I don't have the doors right now in my garage to check it, they are in the body shop.

Many thanks again.

Jason and John, you guys are masters, they are from there. When I reinstalled the fuel pump I now recall looking for three suitable bolts as they were not mounted in place.

Thanks!

John many thanks again, not too sure about this one, according to the PET diagram, that part is supposed to be mounted using tapping screws 3,5x13 and the screw I have are 6,3x18, I don't think they fit there but I will check. Also I am not too sure why would they take that part out in order to paint the car in a different color, if I understood it correctly that part goes inside the door frame, doesn't it?

yes and way easier to get out with glass out. You would have to take it out to get latch out of door shell or frame my painter recommended taking the latch out but I suppose you could tape over latch

PET 7.3 Update 296/100 Have the rest of the updates, but everytime I start the program it says: "Error in last update, new update impossible! (PO)"

Have tried everything I could think of to fix it but run out of ideas...

What are you using?

Ok, now I know why. I am getting the parts for the VIN of my car (1990), yours is more modern, it uses a different newer shape part (same as 993 cars) I just checked it and the newer part appears if you choose 1991> 964 cars

Sorry you are right I was looking at the wrong diagram, but still the PET says that part is held in place by a tapping screw 3,5x13 much smaller of what I have (6,3x18)
