Default Door Pocket Repair

The plastic in the door pocket is cracked and I've made a plate to reinforce - I used a 3d printer to print the "plate" and epoxied it in place. Here are some photos and a link through One Drive to the .stl files used to 3d print so anyone who has access and wants to duplicate help yourself.

There are 2 files - one for the passenger side and one for the driver side - you cannot just print 2 of one and flip it over.

If anyone makes a second set, I'd be interested in buying.

Hi Pak_37,
Very generous of you to contribute your STL file to the Rennlist community.
You definitely have a non-HiFi door pocket, but the profile of your cracked bracket looks like the profile of the 993 HiFi door pocket bracket.
There is a company called Leather Restorations that sells a bracket to replace a cracked non-HiFi door pocket bracket. Its profile looks similar to yours.
Is it possible that your door pocket bracket was previously replaced?
I could be wrong about this, but I thought that all 964 models had non-HiFi door pockets with the bracket profile shown below.

Has anyone been having the issue where the door pocket bows outward?

When I close the lid on the door pocket, the lid sinks inside instead of closing flush on top. Hope that makes sense

I've seen pictures of door pockets that are truly bowed/curved, but I've also seen pockets that were just aligned poorly.
If the alignment is off along the entire length of the pocket/lid, then you can adjust this alignment by drilling a new hole for the screw that goes through the plastic of the door pocket (the part that typically cracks) into the door handle.
I hope that makes sense.

Finally found a printer, but when I looked at the STL files they were scaled differently. One was very much bigger than the other. Can anyone give me the correct dimensions for these pieces?

Thanks,

Dan
