Dash wires?
When I pulled the upper dash just now (windshield is being replaced tomorrow), I noticed these wires near the antenna booster. But upon a closer look, they don't go into the booster but down into the fender well.
I opened the frunk and could see where it was going - nowhere I could get my hands. I had initially thought it might be attached to the frunk light, but can't test that at the moment since my multimeter is kaput.
Any ideas on the glaringly obvious reason I'm missing?
Sorry the last photo is upside down.

side indicator/blinker ???
the 964 are known to have a "full options" wiring harness and in europe we got side indicatior on the fender .
in the US the side indicator is just behind the front ones. ( both side of the bumper )

I think the side markers have a blue wire (and are only two to each lamp), per the wiring diagram.
There is a single brown wire, a single red wire, and a double brown/gray and brown (or brown/gray). I'm going through the '91 schematic to figure out where it may go - not that it's critical but man am I curious.

Those wires disappear into the main harness just below the trunk fuse block. The brown wire I believe is a ground as it has zero ohms resistance to chassis the other two show some resistance to chassis but not zero ohms

The schematics have 3 wires into the rear foglight switch, but I have 4 here.
I had some possibilities but were ruled out based on the insulation coloring. Might switch to the 1990 diagram to look (since it's an early '91).
I'm still digging, and I appreciate the thoughts you guys have.

I will check a spare harness and the car I'm presently working on because both are down to
just prior to installing the dash cover, but if I recall it's likely the wires that plug into the
ceiling lighting in a coupe, since you have a cab that harness isn't present .
Just an idea, Bert
