Builder sent me this pick. He says the clutch pedal interfers with the board on its sweep. I haven't seen it as the car isn't local.
One of our congregation has offered his view (thanks James!!), but just wanna see if anyone has experienced this interference first hand and what did you do about it?
I think you have an early car? the rennline floorboard is for later cars where the clutch is in a different position to the early ones. search 993 pedal box upgrade and you will likely see a few pics of the difference. I have a rennline pedal board in an early car but did it as part of a 993 pedal box transplant.
easiest check, if your existing pedal board has the footrest between the clutch and brake pedal, its an early pedal box and won't fit. RHD pedal boxes were few and far between + expensive when I looked a few years ago, i doubt that has improved.
Just to clear things up, my car is a 1990, so and early C2 car. It's also a RHD car.
The only issue I had was that I needed to remove the footrest on the Rennline pedal board (see pics above) I can only assume that Rennline have changed the pedal board in the last couple of years if your's still won't fit, or possibly they make 2 types.
It could be worth calling Rennline directly as I did when I ordered mine, which was primarily to see if they made a passenger side footrest (for RHD cars). They didn't so we made our own.
