I'm seeing high asking prices for C4 widebody in current ads on the internet ($85k - $100k). What is best guess of a fair market price for a 50k mile C4 Widebody , with all records, no accident, original paint, no engine or suspension changes, all stock (except for radio) and excellent condition (no dents scratches)? any real world input or recent purchase reports would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

Assuming same black car without the repaint on the quarter panel, would you agree that $75-$80 is a strong offer? What added value would a different color be, such as red, white or blue? Thanks.

It seems like the 964 Turbos, RSA, and C2's are demanding good money right now but a lot of the C4 wide bodies have sat around for a long time without being sold. I personally wouldn't offer any more than 70k for the car you're speaking of if it has OEM paint, well maintained, and overall excellent condition. Is the car listed or unlisted?

This car has sold during an eBay auction last month for $82k, but for some reason its listed again. Its also on their website for the same price and has been for some time. I don't think the demand is out there for this car at this price range.

Best one on the market right now IMO although the asking price makes me vomit.

Okay.....if you want a driver and don't care about the resale, how much could a good quality (steel) wide body conversion cost? Seems like you could build a hell of a 964 for far less and actually enjoy it.

Probably add ~$20k+ to the purchase price? You're looking at a full respray, plus all the panels including bumpers, and labor. Plus you'll need to do something about the wheels to fill out the fenders - I certainly wouldn't run spacers, so maybe turbo trailing arms or custom offset wheels.

I don't get it either. I love the wide bodied cars, but how do you justify spending the same money as a 3.3L turbo car? Even if you completely set aside the motor, which is mental, the turbo car is RWD. That alone carries a significant premium in the 964 market over the AWD cars. In a rational world, I would expect the WB car to fetch no more than 70% or so of a turbo's price. Am I crazy?
