noob 3.6 motor question
hey guys. new to the pseudo 964 world but long time pcar dude here. i have a long hood project that i'm dropping a 3.6 motor into. the two motors i'm looking at are from a 90 and a 92. both seem to be in fair condition. the 90 doesn't have documented leak down/compression #'s but from what i heard, it was sold our of LA dismantlers and i hear they don't sell anything less than 4% across all cyls. the 92 on the other hand has 3% or less across all and compression is 190-200ish.
i've been reading that the 92 are more desirable because of the intake and head gaskets being better. are there any other diffs between the two years? i'm leaning towards the 92 just because of the documentation but the 90 is other goodies included and it's tempting. i'd post those goodies but for starters, i want to know about the diffs if any.

Differences I think are:
Plastic intakes
Head gaskets installed
Ignition distributor sealing ring changed
Different flywheel
Clutch carrier plate revised
Clutch release bearing revised
There may well be others.

thanks fellas. some of the goodies include a remapped vertex DME, PMS conversion throttle cable, coil packs igniters, which i realize now the 92 will include the same except for a chipped DME vs a remapped one. i do have the option to buy some GLH heat exchangers with the 90 for another 1k. i think the 92 is sounding more like the ticket.
