Replacement rotors for 64RS/turbo 3.3 Brake front-axle
hi,
does anybody of you has experience with a two-piece disc at the front axle?
My discs are toast after the last trackday at redbull ring... and an i need replacement. The last two sets of discs were turbo 3.6 discs (cheaper) but i`ll try now something new..
In my imagination, i´m going to use a two piece disc with alloy hats...
girodiscs are quite expensive... colemann racing got an email from me (i`m at the states in some weeks and could bring them back to europe by my own)
Perfect would be an alloy hat, that can be used with a stoptech, ap, brembo... rotor...
thx
regards from munich

Then AFAIK right now your only other option is to switch to 993 wheel carriers and then use 993 rotors, while in there might as well use 993RS versions as they are no more expensive and cure bump steer issues on lowered cars as well. The stock 964 RS or 964t calipers will bolt right on. You will need to purchase 993RS or the newly re available 993RSR mono-ball outer tie rod ends too.
