Default Which fuel for 964 in UK

I'm right in thinking 95 is what it needs and any higher is a waste of £££?

Thanks in advance, Piers.

Assuming the car has the stock chip then use 95. I think that the ECU just retards the ignition slightly if you use super unleaded so no benefit.

unless you think the high ethanol content in 95 is an issue for your older rubber components etc ?

I'm using v-power where I can as although they have started adding ethanol ( 5% i think ) it is still lower than the ethanol content in normal

95, never has an issue in 30k.

never noticed any differences using V-power, even when chipped/Maf/custom cat etc.

I heard on another forum that only esso synergy supreme is reliably 5% ethanol these days, I try and stick to that if available, just in case.

Interested to know if anyone has heard similar.
