Just returned from RUF...
Hi,
I have just returned from the Ruf factory. What a place for Porsche lovers! They had just finished restoring Porsche 911 no. 37 of 1964! A lovely albert blue car in as new condition. Next to it was a new GT3 they are planning to develop into something special. Shall become as wide as a GT3 RS racecar - and apparently just as light.
But aside from window shopping, I am very pleased with their parts store. After having bought a new 993-gearbox and almost new cylinder heads I acquired a hardly used 964 RS suspension with all the parts. And the prices are always in the range of 50% off list! There it pays that they do so many conversions.
So, from next season, I will be losing the fillings in my teeth rather than races!
