Hi. Excellent build!

I was wondering if you could help with a KW/Rennline question on the early (1990) 964.

I'm about to buy the same combo on a '90 964C2, and can't find out clearly what I need to make the Rennline rear strut-tops work with the KW's.

Would be grateful if you could share your experience? My questions are:

1. I've read the early gen 964 had different stud-patterns and spacing for the rear strut-tops. What did you spec for the Rennline strut tops?
2. Did you need any additional spacers or spring hats to make the KW's work with the rennline strut tops?

I saw this picture, and wished it was from an angle so I could see interface between the coil and the strut top! You wouldn't have any pics like that, would you?

Thanks and congrats on the build!

Ah yes I saw the parts earlier in the thread. You mentioned you purchased it non-running though, did you figure out what was wrong with it? An easy fix I hope?

the cable for the fuel pump was loose .. and the freshly "repaired" ECU was still faulty

with shaved i did not mean shaving off weight, i more meant filling in the front linsende plate place to make it an even surface

Thanks!

Was it something like this?:

And did you need to use these?:

I read somewhere on RL that the KW V3/V1 for the early 964s come with their own monoball strut tops. Was that your experience?
