Three Wheelin'
E30, 2002, Alfa gtv, merc 280sl, lotus esprit or Elan, Datsun 240z 510 or skyline.. All pretty much darlings of the classic world currently and for good reason.
My vote. 2 wheels. You have a Porsche, now get in the wind. All depends on what you're looking for in another vehicle.
For me, my triumph/Honda/bsa mashup compliments my 964 beautifully. Two air cooled toys.

I'm hoping my next move will be into an E9 3.0.
But failing that, GTV 1750, 2002, M635CSI or MB 280CE!
I too have got an itch for another project now that my 964 is where I want it.

You should own an Alfa at least once in your lifetime.

Very good friend had a 3.0CS and also a 2002tii. Both very nice cars. Same time I had my 356 S90 coupe.
He got tired of chasing parts for the 3.0, sold it, bought a '87 Carrera Coupe and treated the tii to a baremetal respray.
When I was younger, I wanted a GT Veloce, but now I find their build quality to be, shall we say, fragile. Especially when compared to a car of German heritage.
Early 1970s 280 SL always seemed interesting, but one shop told me parts were troublesome. But, my frame of reference on this is maybe 15 years ago.

Picked up this 88 M6 last Summer. Only 80,000 miles, everything works perfectly, and timeless design. Absolutely cruises at 90mph and a 5 speed that is a joy to shift. Long live the Shark!

I am a fan of the Pagoda top Mercedes coupes, but I think they are an older gentleman's car. The 2002 would be my choice as a second car at the moment, but the Benz SL is on the list down the line. In addition to the list of classics I would like to add an American Classic pick up truck. That would solve the problem of fighting over which of the two coupes in the garage to drive.

With the 25 year import rule in effect, start looking outside the country. Maybe some oldschool Japanese classics or euro cars we never got here like the Escort Cosworth :-D
