I know it may be a dumb question, but will front calipers from a 88 Carrera fit a 89 C4?

Thanks Jeff... The reason I asked the question is that I'm re-doing the brakes and struts on my 89 C4, and when I went to have the rotors turned the specs were bunched from the 84-89 Carrera's and then the 90-94 specs. I went for the 90's specs .... turns out they couldn't be turned so I'm going with new slotted rotor's. Vertex has them for $99 bucks!!
