Shake-down road trip. 500+ miles, rain, snow, mountains, and one slippery moment when the rear end came around at 50+ mph - good recovery, but could have been ugly if there were cars on the road. AWD's great, but summer tires don't work on snow @ 25 degrees.
Getting a brake warning light, which is temporarily fixed by filling up reservoir. Suspect a good bleed will fix the issue.
Little loose at speeds, and some bump-steer happening, but that could just be the frost-heaved roads.
Can't wait to get the Recaros mounted.

Recaro test fitting - still waiting for 964-521-065-00 (seat belt buckle bracket) from Germany. Very nice "sport" type seats.
Also replaced the missing side-view mirror adjustment **** (911-613-082-00-01C, black rubber mushroom on drivers door panel); and burnt out side-marker light bulbs (999-631-032-90).
Rec'd, but not yet installed, Air Cleaner Clips (964-110-902-01) (2).

Congrats again on the car.

These are Recaro Sportster CS Seats correct?

Did they come standard with Suede or is the material Alcantara?

Did Carbon Backing ever cross your mind?

Correct. Recaro Sportster CS. One of the standard upholstery trims is black vinyl w/ black "Alcantera Suede". I don't think these seats come with carbon backing.

Great drive back and looks good with the Sportster. They are available in Carbon Optic in Europe but they are not cheap, a little over $2.5K each. There was a set for sale in SoCal a few years back and I missed out b/c the owner did not want to ship, I was bummed but then found a set of GT2 seats.

How much lower are you sitting in the Sportster CS seats?

I was told this week from Northstar in Barrington that CS seats were not available in Alcantera ... Where did you get yours?
Thx

In a swift turn of events, the C4 has been sold to a dbfd affiliate (and hopefully new Rlister).

Recaros have also been sold and will ship soon to a Rlister in Chicago.
