Black & Gold or Black & Red?

Picked up some BBS 10 Spokes off a 996 and since they need to be refinished anyway, I'm thinking of doing something a little bit out there for the summer.

I'm considering either a JPW-inspired Black and Gold scheme or a GT3RS-inspired Red & Gold scheme, so I made some photoshop mockups.

What do you guys think? Is the gold too Lotus? Is the red too Matchbox Car? I'll probably go back to my Silver Cup 1s in a few months so it's not forever.

Both look good but the red is my favourite, only if you put the stickers on though. If you don't then I'd go gold!

Damn!

My 964 is black, and my track wheels are the 996 Ten-Spokes.

I have been thinking of having them refinished in black, but gold on a black 964 looks pretty nice, Smokey and the Bandit reference not withstanding. :-)
