I got one of the Porsche Sport Classic radio's for it. We added an extra amp for it. Could not find a spot for a subwoofer that made any sense so going without. We also added the Escort built in radar detector and phase shifter (aka..laser jammer)
New speakers in the RS door cards.

Had one of those in my Cayenne GTS; worth its weight in gold. Never turn on the radio but I like the USB ports. I am assuming if you mount them on top they will interfere with the ash tray or do the cables interfere with shifting?

I have the window mount 9500i in my Cayenne GTS too and yes..has saved me countless times..."don't leave home without it". Went witht the integrated one on the 964 since the windshild is so close given the depth of the dash in the 964. The window stick on unit is right in your face and I didn't like it. Located the usb's there so not to get itn the way when shifting. Think we looked at a couple other spots but that one seemed like it would work oaky.

Silly question: did you manage to make your OMP hub to make the self-cancelling turn signals work? I have the same hub but the signals don't self-cancel with the new hub anymore.

From the pics, your hub looks like an OMP one and not Momo. Is that correct?

02m2 12-12-2016 06:45 PM

No sure the brand but some private label that they used. Not Momo.
I suspected that they put the little plate that cancels the signal in backwards and had them pull it and check it. That is what had happened and now works properly.

Well my 6 week paint job has turned into a year. Painter turns out has "issues" and so did my paint job. Rather than redoing it decided to clear wrap the entire car and then ceramic coat. Came out really nice. Side mirrors got resprayed and will arrive next week. A little bit more suspension work and should have it by next Friday.

Spyerx 12-18-2016 04:03 AM

Damn that looks good

02m2 12-21-2016 01:30 AM

Well guess not getting it back on Friday... just in from Joey at E-Motion who is setting up the suspension:

I have the car and working on it. It needed new tie rod boots up front and installed while doing tie rods. Also they didn't install bushings in the lower strut mount. JRZ probably didn't supply any. I had some made and installed them as well. Unfortunately they installed the front upper mounts backwards and didn't machine the towers. I will have to change and machine them in order to get proper camber

To me all that means is post holidays .....ugahhhh

Does look great. I love colors that contrast the black accents. really makes everything pop. Worth the wait. BTW what did you do to your tail lights to make them so dark? Was it a paint or film?

What color is that?? Is it a newer gray or a back dated color. Is it a metallic or flat color.
Thanks for feedback
Merry Christmas to all

We eneded up getting all new lenses for the car. I had them sprayed with tinted clear. We did it in seveal coats until I got the darkness I wanted. I apprently probably got the last set of front clears anb we tinted clear those as well. Probably all for the better since I have been reading people had a problem with the glue yellowing.

It is slate grey non metallic. It is an original Porsche 356 color. There are multiple slate grey paint codes. This is the same color code as on Steve McQueens 930. It is color code 615
