Default 3 RD BRAKE LIGHT

We are getting close to finishing the repaint of my car. Saw it over the weekend and looks good but needs a final buff and some detail work. I wanted to share the a couple pics of the third brake light spoiler that I ordered and the rear euro glass. Not fully assembled but I was impressed with how well it worked with the car.

Was thinking of getting this as well. Is this OEM or aftermarket? Looks great!

OEM porsche part. You have to order the euro rear glass from Germany with out the old 3rd brake surround.
Got my stuff from 5150 motorsports in Ventura. here is what you need:

Vehicle Type 964
Installation Kit, Part Number 000 044 800 12
plus the following additional parts:
1 Cable Harness 993 612 893 00
2 Connector 944 612 546 00
3. Adhesive set 043 203 42

That's something I have wanted to do for a very long time. What window did you go with for the rear? Pre-86 or a euro 964 window?

I'm assuming you went with the standard 993 light? Or is that an aftermarket kit?

lol..thanks. Makes a bigger difference than I was expecting. While they were not done you could at least see how it was going to look. I think it is worth the cost even with the new glass. Really modernizes the look of the car.

The guys in LA putting the car together for me ordered it through a local dealer that ordered it from Germany. We searched to see if there were any in the states but could not find one. If you need I will look for the correct part number for the glass.

No, it's cool, more curious than anything. I know they're hard to find. Wanted to know if you got the cultwerks one or not.

No plenty of them in Germany at Porsche. Only took a couple of weeks to get.

Wouldn't a US, 993 rear glass work? It looks great, I've wanted to this since I got my car, maybe some day when it gets repainted.

I understand that the 993 glass will NOT work. I am far from an expert but did a lot of research on getting this together. I could clearly be wrong and lots of guys on here that will know for sure.
