Default Is this fine?

I finally cured the horrible tire noise from the circa 2004 tires and am very happy with the conti extremecontact dw's. I also decided to put 5mm spacers on the rears.

Is that fine or is the lack of front spacers and issue? I have a 90 C4

It's fine. The ratio is based on tire size and width. Spacing out your current set up (as long as it's the correct size) will have no I'll effects :thumbs up:

Five is fine...spacing farther than 7mm on the stock studs is not good. People say up to 10mm on the stock studs, but I think they are crazy. If you go to 7mm switch to steel lug nuts since you have fewer threads. I wouldn't trust the alluminum nuts past 5mm of spacing. That said, I have a friend that has been driving on 7mm spacers in the rear with the alluminum nuts for years, and his wheels haven't fallen off yet....yet...

Is your avatar showing after spacers? Looks good.

Would 5mm spacers be fine for the front with no stud concerns as well?

Yep, will be fine. I run 5mm all around on my 964.
