Dash flocking?

Default Dash flocking?

Iam considering having my dash flocked.
Anyone had any experience with dash flocking?

Not had this done, but I know there is a very good place next door to Redtek, maybe look them up and give them a call. Supposed to help with reflections in screen in the summer months too.
Good luck, that dash cover is sooo heavy, why it has to be made of steel I do not know! if you could get a plastic /carbon version you would save a bit of weight too!

You can get fibreglass ones £400 thou!
I was planning on buying one of eBay, then having it flocked.
There's a place near Preston, he quoted me £120 to flock dashboard top.

It's mainly to stop reflections, and I like the race car look

I've been watching eBay for ages for a dash to flock, they all seem to be wrecked and way over priced, the only ones at sensible money are lhd! I've seen a dash in a gt40 being flocked and it didnt look hard to do, certainly not something I'd pay someone to do especially as the material is cheap and if you **** it up it's easy to start again. It does look good though, just can't bring myself to do it to my mint condition dash

Bought a dash of flea bay.
£130.
Place in Chester will flock it for £60.

I'll post a pic when done
