Nothing non-ethanol by me, so I toss in some stabil ethanol treatment to try and balance out.

What's the octane level to shoot for? Most are offering 89 but a few have 90. No problems with the car but if it helps with her longevity I would make the switch.

91 is bare minimum.

We have 93 octane BP in MO. > no ethanol- spoke to the local BP rep and he said it is a very clean burning fuel free of many of the additives in the 89, and 91 octane versions.
I have two of Steve's cars- both weapons in their own right- and they are both chipped, high compression with cams and run fantastic on the 93.

Pardon, late reply. Yes its mapped for it. It has a GM Ethanol sensor so i can run gas or e85 or any mixture thereof, without having to mapswitch. The ECU does this by using the maps in the background to optimize fueling, boost, ignition, etc.

150whp difference....

I though so ,
150 whp more ? Seams a lot of extra power ? Intrigue to what final power you have with 98 and E85 ?

That is for my Skyline, but should not be much of a difference on the Porsche, because you can run higher boost, and quite a bit more ignition.

For the 964 Turbo, the new engine is being built and should be done end of the month or beginning February. We will see what comes out of it! On the Porsche I mostly hope to reduce EGTs dramatically with the use of E85.
