Hi guys , I am driving in Europe , I am using Mobile1 SHC with Redline LS additive , but I am not sure it's the best for smooth shift, Thinking changing to; Castrol 75w140 LS Or Motul 300 LS 75w90 Do you guys have any experience with those 3 ? I wonder witch one would be the best to protect and produce the smoother shift ,,, Thanks Konstantin

I'm using Swepco 201 (80w90) in both of my cars. I had used the Mobil 1 SHC before but have easier access to the Swepco. Both seem to work well in our cars. No noticeable difference.

I went from Mobil 1 SHC 75w-90 to Motul 300 LS 75w-90 and didn't notice any real difference.

While swepco 201 is not bad, the delvac 75/90 is the go to oil for the 964. The swepco is generally recommended for everything pre G50. Redline also makes a great 75/90wt.

Do a search on the PParts website as well as here- I've used Redline for years but Matt Monson of Guard Transmission categorically says not to use it, especially on the track.

I just drained the Redline out and put in the Delvac that LexVan mentioned- got it from Zoro for a pretty good deal. No miles yet.

I agree that is the word across Rennlist. However if you search the threads you will also read negative experiences with Redline and even a few for Delvac (mixed reviews for LSD). I have not come across a negative experience with Swepco in a G50. It has been flawless in both of my cars. Just my two cents

I run delvac in my gt3rs, 89 with lsd, 91 with lsd
The only downsides to delvac are no noise reducer additives for the lsd and it's a little balky when cold. But when warmed up its excellent. And in my rs running hard it shifts great, always.

Matt will suggest delvac and a couple others but his main advice is change it regularly. Especially with track use.
