Well, at least you saw SOME Porsches. Two weeks in Florida this summer and I saw more in the 30 minute journey from London Gatwick to my house in Surrey! Where do they all hide?
Next time you're in Cal, Arjan, make it August and take in the Monterey Speed Week and Pebble Beach Concours at Carmel -you will NOT believe your eyes!! I'm still reeling from the shock, and that was five years ago!!
Drive Highway One to San Fancisco if you get the chance -one of the must do drives in the world. We spent almost two weeks doing the 400 miles.

Melvin,
We did the 17 Miles drive twice, and visited also Pebble Beach, beautiful area. I can imagine that a car show would fit ther 100%
Lets see if next year is a option, Randall asked me do do the Mexico Run in October 04 with him. I can't in the future. This spring I tought not that I would come to the US, and a 1/2 year later I was there. Things run wierd sometimes.
Thanks for your response!
Oh, for the guys and girls who have start problems after 2 weeks, my 964 started very well after 2 weeks non use. No battery drain as I read sometimes on the board.

Okay, I know these pics are a little late. Anyway, here's Arjan tearing apart my car
:
And, here's the new regulator (which works wonderfully) going in:

And, speaking of pics, my car also showed up on Pelican Parts' German Autofest pics:

Besides just figuring things out as we went along, we used Wayne Dempsey's "101 Projects for Your Porsche 911" to help install the regulator. The project was really written for a '74-89, but everything was the same--with the exception of some torx fasteners where the earlier car used standard bolts.
