Not bad at 72 dpi. Does it run? Bought mine less expensively 19 months ago in the States.

So, is that about $16500 American for a left hand driver w/93k miles. Sounds like the market here, everything going south!!! What would a right hand drive car in the same condition bring in England?

Exactly - the sort of car that need £10,000 spending on it.

You guys would say this after you blew some ridiculous sum on your cars, the cars obviously not a dog,93 thou with history, theres no way 10k would have to be spent on this car.The fact is this car and other deals prove there are good cheap cars available out there if you look hard enough, and there not all slushomatic mopeds

Paul, please don't get personal, we didn't...

I am always suspicious of cars sold on ebay, even a Fiesta, never mind a Porsche. Whoever wants that car should definitely get a PPI done on it as there is no way to tell from the brief description. You can never judge a car on its declared mileage, who knows how many times its been put back.

It strikes me as possibly being a bad car because the guy has hardly written anyting about it (rare if he was a true enthusiast) and we already know the a/c isn't working. Bet the PPI would show it has leaking heads and had bodywork too!

I think you could easily spend £10k, on 911 badges, wide body kits, neon lights for the engine bay, low loud exhaust sytems......though in Suffolk you can probably get all this done for a tenner I expect!

You seem obsessed with cheap Porches..its as if you spend most of your day buying and selling cheap things on ebay or something....

Paul,

10k isn't hard to spend. Top end rebuild with clutch and flywheel with a few other bits, tinware etc. is close to 7k, no idea on the a/c but allow a 1k and a few other bits that he hasn't mentioned eg, tyres, removing the dents etc would be 2k. So BINGO, theres your 10k. Its not an impossible figure. You drive a 964 so sureley you know the market price to get these cars fixed. I havent seen this car so I dont know the condition but I bet its not how most of us would like our 964's served.

Hi

All looks fantastic on ebay, one persons imaculate is not anothers i have come to learn.

I side with the opinion on the A/C comment, either the system is screwed or it needs recharging. If you are selling you know which it is. If you have a prob with the A/C that would be pricy on its own, i know if i was selling my car i would make sure everything was working before hand, less chance of people making lower offer.

just my thoughts
