During the investigation into the PDAS failure in my C4, we discovered some corrosion in the plug itself and between some of the terminals in the control unit itself.
Based on what I've seen in my car I think it would be wise for all 964 owners to check their own plugs and look for signs of corrosion before it gets out of hand. Our cars 10-13 years old now and are subject to corrosion. Get yourself a can of Wurth Contact Cleaner and a good brush and clean up any corrosion as best you can.
You might be able to stave off (or at least delay) a possible failure.
