There is. It was used on the RSA and can still be purchased but it is easy enough to fabricate a plate. Don't forget there are two if you decide to remove the entire system both front and rear.

Default A/C delete rubber plug for left rear fender

Hi, dug up this old thread. Ive removed the aircon compressor and replaced it with an electric compressor in the front.

I’m looking for the rubber plug that closes the hole in the left rear fender where the compressor hoses go through the sheet metal. Can’t find it the the parts diagram.

Anyone know the part number for the rubber plug? Thanks!

This shows up in the PET as lid for cars without A/C. Assuming it is correct you will need 2 one for the front and one for the rear of the car. I just cut a piece of rubber and used it but it was a track car.

Legend. Thanks Cobalt.

I won’t need one for the front as I still have A/C lines in the front fender. I’m using an electric compressor.

My 964 A/C and heater system are removed

I noticed that if I push the HVAC front defrost button ( and probably A/C button thet is of course useless ) there is an instant engine power / ignition loss

Anyone that have the A/C removed noticed something similar ?

Thanks
