I got the option codes oof my car and decoded them:
Code Option Description
220 Locking differential
429 Fog headlamp, white
429 Special model "Sebring"
454 Automatic speed control
494 2 speakers on back shelf
494 Amplifier system
650 Sunroof
691 CD-Player "CD-1" with Radio
C02 Equipped with catalytic converter
Anyone know what this "Special model "Sebring" is?
How rare is the locking differential?

Dear Chris,
Option M429 Sebring special only applied to the 924. Porsche reused many option numbers when a model was discontinued. On the 964 series it means you have front fog lights white.
Option M220 in general is not uncommon. What I can tell you is that you have a 40% locking LSD where as from 1991 onwards the LSD was a 20 - 100% locking differential. This is much rarer because not many 1990 models were fitted with LSDs.
Ciao,
Adrian

PS: For the record the 20-100% locking LSD was developed for the Turbo and then offered on the Carrera 2.
