Default OZ Wheels

Anyone know anything about these wheels? Came on the car when I bought it and I don't think I am a fan......... Figured I would give it some time, but haven't warmed up to them.

Unless someone can convince me that these add 50 Hp to my car, I will likely be posting for sale, but need to find replacements first.

They are great wheels but suit 928/993s better imho.
If the car is slammed and wider dishes etc then they'll be awesome.
However may not be your thing!!!
Nice car!

They are the OZ Mito. Good quality wheel, should be easy to sell if you decide you don't like them.

they make good rims (Italian Co, F1 Alfa, Williams, Lotus & Ferrari etc..)

... lots of GT3 DE & Race guys use them as a stepping stone to BBS or for their 2nd or wets etc

They're super strong and yes they do add HP (to weight) cos they're light or at least the Allegrita etc for GT3s are .. worth weighing them

... are they look to be real 3 pieces? Even better ie can service and replace centres or rim etcc

Thanks for the info gentlemen. Very helpful. I recall the previous owner telling me he dropped quite a chunk of change on them, but I have never been a fan of three piece wheels. I guess these are Mito Modulars......no longer available? Nice to know they are good quality, lightweight wheels. Maybe I'll just keep them on for a bit longer and see if I can warm up to them. Perhaps put them on my black coupe to see how they look....

If anyone has any info on what these weigh I'd love to know. If I ever get around to tracking my coupe they might indeed come in handy.

I've got the Champion version of these Techart/OZs and I'll tell you, they're FAR from light... Pretty wheels, but there are definitely lighter wheel options out there if this is something you're looking for ~ especially for track duties.

Here's the dish:

That car is stunning! Those wheels look great on a 993 as GilesHanna predicted. The wide body deep dish certainly adds to the aesthetic qualities!

I need to get my wife to photoshop these on my black 964. Yes.....I am too lazy to do the actual swap at the moment. Or rather too many other projects to occupy my time.

boman993...........I'll trade you both of my 964 cars for that 993 C4S!!! Oops.....did I just say that on a 964 forum?

After seeing these on a black car I think I know why I don't care for them as they sit. The bling level is too high on a silver car. Just too much shiny silvery stuff happening there. On a black car it provides a better contrast.

Sell the wheels, as mentioned before they're totally in demand ~ you'll find someone interested for sure. And get some light weight Cup Is for track duty! There is nothing sweeter than a clean set of Cup Is on a 964!
