Default Engine Stall

I have periodically had the no start problem when the engine was warm, however, today, my engine stalled twice while driving. This morning, it happened while at a light, when the engine, without warning, just cut out. There was no sputtering or caughing. It just stopped as if I turned off the ignition. This afternoon, I was driving at about 60 klm/hour, when the same thing happened. All the dash lights came on and the motor was dead. I waited 30 seconds and it fired up as if nothing was wrong. This problem has the potential to be dangerous.

Any thoughts on cause/resolve?

I agree. Potentially dangerous if the engine just cuts out like that. I'd initially try changing DME relay as this controls the fuel etc.

Dear Syd,
Ignition switch. Check your keyring. If it is too heavy it can move a worn switch.
Ciao,
