CSL/Mini Cooper OEM Battery Swap

Anyone try this in the 964. Seems like a reasonable weight savings, at 36lbs. Does it fit?

Like the idea of using an OEM battery, as opposed to a lightweight "race" battery.

if it has the correct specs and fits why not. 12 V from one battery is still the same 12V from another.
