Default 1994 964 Widebody Value Question

I need to decide today if I pull the trigger on a beautiful 1994 964 Widebody Black/Black 57k miles, 5 speed, repainted to a high quality front bumper and one fender, no accidents, the rest is original (metered) mechanically needs nothing, all stock, 3 owners, excellent condition, seats have red piping, it's number 28 of 267...service history is with the car its the nicest looking 964 but the seller is not letting her go cheap he won't accept a dime less than $75k which feels $5-10k too high but then again in the market, who knows? Thoughts?

Dealers are asking around $100k for original paint cars with similar miles. I think you've got a decent deal if you can pay $60-$70k for this car, IMHO

I don't think anyone will pay over 80.

It's a pretty car (they all are) but over that and the field begins to open up.

(I.e...no damage).

And that's to someone who can't afford to pay another 10k for a damage free, no paint work car.

It's a pretty car. I'd have it looked at before purchasing it and I'd also be interested in knowing when it was hit and how many miles have been put on it since then.

I think that's high retail.

It would look so much better with the original WB Cup wheels on it, those wheels look terrible. Was the hood and fender replaced or just resprayed? Does it still have the options sticker under the hood?

I have two ....paid 36k for the first 7 years ago 60k miles some work needed but not too much cleaned up nice.... the second I paid 28k had a whale tail and had lived on a dirt road 100k miles needed re spray and some wrenching ....i think I would not pay over 55k for one.... it would have to be perfect
At 55k your in turbo range 930, 996tt, 997 turbo s, close to 996 gt3

run the last few digits thru Norbert's VIN checker.....just to be sure it's not a conversion.

You guys could be right that 55k is low....I see high prices on them a lot too ....but do they sell?
A motivated seller is key.

Frank Beck of Beck's European may still have his WB for sale. I think he was in the $70K range. It was listed on the Early 911S Registry.
