Service items after being in storage
I've just picked up a 90 c2 manual... that has only 91000kms... (approx 57000 miles).
it's been in storage for the last few years but drives ok.
I havent taken it far and am open to suggestions for what needs to be done.
Obviously oil and filter change is needed.
But i have noticed the oil is not circulating to the front cooler, so I am assuming the thermostat is stuck.
Also, I plan to have the distributor belt changed asap too.
Anything else I should do?

I would change all of the fluids (engine oil, transmission, brake fluid & clutch). I would also test your battery. And what age are the tires? Do you have air conditioning? You may need to add refrigerant.
I would also inspect/replace the v-belts and power steering belt. Any concerns about animals getting into the car like mice?
Lastly, what condition are the disk brakes? Are the rotors very rusty? If yes, you may want to replace them.

hi Rob, thanks for the reply.
So far I have put new bilstein HD suspension and new tyres.
I have only driven the car a short distance to establish the thermostat not opening properly.
new belts have been ordered...
The aircon will not engage for some reason.. all fuses appear to be intact, but when i push the button, the compressor clutch wont "click"... if I apply 12v from an external source to the compressor, then the clutch will click.
