Default It's been a great run guys!

I finalized the transaction yesterday for my 964 and the car is now sold and gone. I have very mixed feelings but I am happy for the new owner who is going to get many years of enjoyment from the car.

My 5 years of 964 ownership have been fantastic due in no small part to the community here. I think everyone who has spent time on Rennlist knows this subform is a very special place and 964 people really do look out for each other.

Keep on keeping' on guys!

-Mike Baker

He actually did a terrific job getting it on the trailer. He came within millimeters of scraping the splitter but did not.

I was without a 964 once. That didn't last long. Any good bits leftover to sell?

The reason for selling is I just wanted to try a different car. I don't want to regret not driving other cars and missing out on the experience. I have a line on a 997.1 C2S that hopefully will be filling my now empty garage space.

Who knows what the future holds. The 964 is a fantastic car. I may be back but I need to sow my car oats!

I have a 997.1 C2S (I think you had a pre-sale post), it's amazing....apparently 997 prices have already started to go up...well at least in Canada because our dollar dropped. I was talking to a manager at P dealer last week during a track event and he said all the new 911s will be turbo so anything naturally aspirated is going to take off.

Also he was driving a 991 GTS and said for his personal car he would take a 997.1 C2S over it any day of the week

Ahh! I regret not buying this. Congratulations to the seller and the new owner.

Anyone know of a manual, black coupe C2 for under $40K?
