Richard, I have those other types on a set of wheels that came with my 964 so they must be common, which the original Turbo centres are not!

The ones Richard has look great IMO. If the CofA/option sticker shows XD4 than he needs the correct ones if not just use them and keep the turbo ones easily switched back to as delivered.

The period correct ones are pretty rare. They switched to black lettering PORSCHE for the 993 which can still be purchased and are identical otherwise. The Gold lettering version have crept up in price and I have seen nice sets fetch $450+ but they can be found on ebay from time to time needing paint. Polished ones are next to impossible to find but you can probably polish out the painted ones.

Although on a side note I have observed recently some subtle differences between the P and R coded 3.6T's and the R coded cars received some parts later found on the 993's so who is to argue.

I'm almost certain the Turbo scripts are the original centres. These are the ones on my 964 D90 Frankenstein wheels.

I like the wheels nice twist on the D90. Those caps are worth good money and are correct for the XD4 option.

Thanks for the advice - all very complicated - looks like I should keep the Turbo centres for Sunday best and the crest one's for fun

More pics. Richard thinks it will be another 2 weeks until it's finished. Looking great. I'm so happy an enthusiast bought my car.
