I expect it is significant but vicarious ownership is very affordable

Costs are mounting at quite a pace , however I am very passionate about doing it 100 % properly - we have a strange dynamic happening in the UK with Aircooled prices going through the roof - which in itself is frustrating on all sorts of levels , however the only silver lining is it helps to justify the total restoration cost on this project - I don't really want to say how much the whole thing is costing on a public forum - all I will say is I'll keep going until it's done

Talking

Hi there - another update - I mentioned before that the car was original panels and 100 % rust fee - the bodyshop have ensured that when taking it back to bare metal that it will also be 100 % filler free before painting - these photos illustrate the levels they are going through to do this - this was to take out the tiniest imperfection in th bodywork under the windscreen , that in truth , I found very hard to see - they were having none of it - I think that their attention to detail is amazing

Where would a Turbo 3.6 be without its signature wheels? Beautifully restored with the "Speedline for Porsche" etching. The car originally came with Turbo script centers, but Richard has sourced some alternates to change as he chooses.

Everything looks fantastic. not that the car wasn't a beauty to begin with.

Hate to bring this up but the crested center caps are incorrect for the 94 turbo. The proper ones have the circle around the outside and the PORSCHE lettering in gold.

Thanks Anthony. Do you have an image of the correct ones for Richard?
