Default 1 x 964 tool. Free to good UK home.

Good morning Rennlisters

Clearing my toolbox out at the weekend I stumbled upon what must be a 964 spark plug wrench-***-spanner thing.

I've determined that it can only be from the House of Porsche as it is:

A. Super lightweight.
B. Marked 'Made in Germany.
C. The only bit of quality kit in my Fisher Price tool box.

Having pondered its fate for at least 15 seconds I've decided to 'pay it forward' and will gladly pass it on to any UK 964'er who might need one to complete their OEM tool roll.

R.S.V.P

Whatty Redcoat.

I'd be happy to help and could add it to my Meccano box. If you'd like to PM me your contact details, I could arrange collection.

Hi Harry Apps.

Ooh hark at you; Mecaccano indeed.

Fast response and better yet, off to a good Norfolk home.

PM sent.

Cheers Whatty.

PS. Actually my tools are predominantly Sear Craftsman.
Perfect for the Amateur Wrench fumbler.

Morning 964 people.

Planet earth is a big place. The digital car world appears to be tiny.

Prepare for a tale to tell that might just require some suspension* of disbelief.

Cheers.

I saw this same tool in a 94 turbo this weekend yet it is completely different from the tool used on my 93 C2, 94 turbo and 93 928gts. I am assuming that more than one was offered or is this earlier design?

I have no idea Mr. Cobalt.

Presumably Porsche just shopped for it amongst different suppliers at different times.

Mr Apps and I have duly completed the handover but didn't dwell too much on the specificity of its origins when we met.

While the Norfolk factor is merely coincidence what follows can only suggest something a bit odd in the digital car world.

Mr. Apps resides 75 yards to the left of my desk this afternoon.

I now live 75 yards to the right.

Cheers, Whatty SmileWavy

PS. 1 billion Chinese will lose no sleep over the above factoid.

Well if I'd known there was free coffee on the go, I would have stayed at home this afternoon!

You have my phone number Mr. Apps, you need just call for free beverage service.

Whether I have sufficient signal to answer is another matter.

Cheers, Whatty.

PS.

Do pop down for a peek at my 7 alike when time allows.
Tis a swift and curious thing.
