hey Fox it looks like you have similar taste (except in mirrors - I need more help reversing!)

Run the VPH750 on the track 996 cup .. 7 years and counting ... does the P6 have the auto cut-off circuitry ie sense when voltage dropping and shut battery off?

I've just purchased the updated version of the Deltran Battery Tender unit. DT BTL24A480CW DELTRAN LITHIUM BATTERY WITH BMS 26-35Ah 12V. The new model is still rated at 480CCA but now has the added feature of Battery Smart Monitoring that will shut down the battery if it senses over or undercharging, over or under temp and short circuit. It can then be reset with a push button. Theoretically this should isolate the battery in a situation where this a parasitic draw on the battery that could completely discharge it.

I'd be interested in hearing from other C4 owners who have a LiFePO4 battery fitted and whether they have experienced any issues with them and the PDAS or ABS warning lights coming on more frequently.

Battery tender must have released them RoW before here in the US. Their new version is still "coming soon" on the US website. I've been waiting for the new release.

It shouldn't cause any C4 issues. Rest voltage should be around 13.2v, a good bit higher than the 12.7/12.8v for lead or agm batteries. That will make everything work more efficiently. Have any docs for the new BT? I'm keen to try one out.

Thanks for that! The prices in their new series aren’t looking terribly competitive compared to the other brands. Time to look a bit closer at the antigravity atx-30 for me.

Been using a voltphreaks P6 in mine since I got it. Great battery. Has low voltage cutoff. Switch, remote switch, super super light. Cranks like crazy, good reserve. Auto shut off at low capacity, push button, car will start. Made in CA, engineered in CA. Assume the cells come from Japan or China like most...

I have a braille, it's dumb by comparison. I know of one that smoked in spectacular fashion most likely due to a defect of over discharge, they aren't sure. Was on the factory braille charger.

Seems like anti gravity has released a battery with similar features to the VF. There may be other now.

Unfortunately we are limited in choices here in NZ and even Australia has just one Antigravity dealer that I'm aware of. Fortunately our climate is fairly mild so the Battery Tender 480CCA should be sufficient. Yes at NZ$550.00 it's not a cheap option but is in line with what else is available here.
Kos, what lengths of battery cable did you get? Are they 1Ga wire or thinner?

I checked the sizing and the Rennline Odyssey 680 mount is the closest.

Been using atx30 for almost a year. Rip starts the car every time and weighs about 6 lbs. I had to make a mount though and rivnut it to the wall of the trunk.
