Default Electrical connector spring clip

I am short of a couple of these clips including the big connector for the AFM plug anyone know where you can source replacements ?

To be honest Gaz I think your only option might be to whip one off some other connector that maybe isn't being used that's tucked away at the back somewhere (occasionally round the back of the blower motor or relay box on the side?).

The connectors are called 'Junior Power Timer' connectors. They're available from many sources including eBay. They're cheap so your best bet is to buy a new connector of the same size (ie pin count) and pinch the spring from it.

Cool Rob. Been looking to replace a couple myself. £3 direct from a few places (now we all know what to call it)..

Thanks for that , I didnt know the proper name either and had googled many versions of spring clip connector,retainer etc with no joy and junior power timer was not in my 101 descriptors.

Just as a tip, it's not necessary to remove these clips to unplug the connector. I've seen people say this in the past, and it's a good way to lose the clips.

Just push the metal clip in towards the body of the connector and it will release

If you have a salvage yard around, these are found on lots of cars- VW, Saab, Audi, etc. You could probably grab a dozen for a dollar. There are some variations on the design though, so look closely.
