anybody know anything about these guys? I am looking into a 964 that has no motor and need advice on where to find one to rebuild or purchase.

First I've heard of them. Will be curious to hear if anyone has experience with them.

Rocket Rob...did I buy Cup rims from you last summer? there are a ton of places that sell crate motors (Instant G, La Dismantlers, Patrick Motorsports, etc.)....Porsche might even still do it.

From what I've read, lots of people have used them as a source and come away smiling.

No, I haven't sold any rims.

I checked the Porsche option before I had my motor rebuilt... came in at 69k USD from the price list I had. That was just the motor, ready to be swapped (plug and play so to say, no gearbox).

Don't know if it is still supplied, I rebuilt my engine

69k seams a little steep! 😭

The car has no motor so rebuild is not an option. I need to purchase an entire motor ready to go.

what? so, for the price of TWO 964's, you can buy just an engine. Ok, that makes sense ?

Those motors look cost-effective. Way less than rebuilding mine...

Please post once you get it installed and let us know how it's gone...

I recall reading that page and prices from way back. I checked the website time machine and those prices do indeed go back to 2003 (oldest snapshot of the site available). It'd be awesome if those prices are still current.

I spoke to him a few months ago, I was looking for a temporary motor while I rebuilt mine. I'm afraid to mention prices on here...apparently the last guy that did drives a Lada now!lol The current prices were just a bit higher....really not by much.

I think Ace mentioned that he doesn't have an engine at all....so rebuild is not an option.

Rebuild is not an option. I don't think I am going to buy the car. He wants too much money. It's gonna take 17k to buy it and too many unknowns with putting a new motor in the car. I was hoping to get it from him for 12k but he wouldn't budge off of 17k. I'll just keep looking for a builder at a good price. I have the cash for a nice builder SC out there but what I really want is another 964.
Thanks you guys for the input.

After more consideration I have made an offer on the car. We will see what he says.
