I replaced mine for preventive maintenance. looking at live data on original the high and low limits were much small than the factory new one I installed, also faster reaction times too.

this was at 24000 miles last year so time is a factor.

What was age of old? And you're saying replaced after only 24k miles?

it was original. yes replaced at 24000 miles.

Replaced mine at 165K miles. No records in the service history of prior replacement. I replaced just cause.
