Default Quick Question On Seat Leather

These monkeys are out of a 1993 C2 Cab. Standard seats or Supple Leather seats. What do you think.

My eyes say Supple Leather. Admittedly, Im not a guru on 964 seats.

i'd say supple leather...the ripples in the inserts are what lends me to believe that.

I dont know much about 964 seats. My 930 seats w/o supple are quite hard leather and half a millon perf/breather holes in them. No holes in these pictured seats, but I dont know if standard seats were basically carried over from the 911 to 964.

My Cayman supple leather seats are like thin leather -- way thinner than these pics. I dont think Porsche was using that real stretchy thin supple leather until the 993s or 996s?

The 3.2 911 seats also had the perf holes in them.

I switched from non to supple; yours look almost exactly like mine (which are supple) and don't look much like my non-supple.

Supple... look like mine.

I think they called it ruffled leather though, not supple leather.

Either way, it's not the standard seat.

Supple/ruffled otherwise the inserts would be perforated.

Supple or 'Raff'
Same as mine except I don't have the dark welt.

check under the hood for option code "980" to be sure that you have supple leather.

Yeah thats the thing. There is no 980 code. But they are factory original seats w/the std color piping option. I think Im gonna chalk it up to the factory being asleep at the wheel that day and not getting the code on there.

I have supple leather for my rear seats and regular front seats. Its on my options as well. Just weird to me.
