Hi fellow P-lovers,

I ve got a drivers seat problem.

When I adjust the drivers seat with the second switch (the one that higher or lowers your butt!) the right side of the seat stays stuck for a fraction of a second what results in an uneven (non-horizontaly) adjustment ( the whole seat "bends" towards the right side).

Only when I put the seat in its lowest position it adjusts and puts the seat back in an even position.

Also the little handle to flip the backside of the frontseat needs more strenght to move than usual.

Anybody any idea ?

The seat adjustment mechanism is relatively simple. There is a single electric motor that turns a pair of adjusters for each function. For example, to move the seat forward/back, there is a motor with two mechanical cables. You should remove the seat and see what is binding. It may either be the cable running from the electric motor to the seat or the seat adjuster itself.
