Shades of Grey (964 mit 993)
If you occasionally cross over into the 993 forum you may have read a great, recent “new car, the long drive home” thread from Jarrett (Most Days in Life Don't Stand Out, But These Do!). Turns out we don’t live too far apart, so this past weekend we met up for a quick drive on some nice twisty roads by my house. He’s new to Porsche ownership, but you can see from my pictures, he bought quite well.
A stunning car (’95 C2), in a stunning color.
After a quick meet and greet in the driveway to say hello to him and his wife, we were off into the country. All my limbs were busy driving and I had my daughter in the passenger seat (watching Netflix… LOL) so no pictures of the twisty bits.
The sun was going down fast as we arrived back in town to refuel and talk about some of the great road sections we just conquered.
My daughter out running, burning off some energy...
Turns out my first dinner recommendation was closed, but all is not lost, as least the lot is all cleared for a photo opportunity.

We really didn’t have any time to set up nice pictures of the dynamic duo, but there are lots of murals in town…
Looking good as Jarrett wades through traffic to line up for one more shot…
He can’t get the smile off of his face (neither could you if you were him…)
So I’ve gained another RL friend. Very nice meeting you Jarrett (any your wife). Hopefully the first of many trips!

Beautiful cars. I'm partial to the 964, as I own one myself. However, that grey paint is something special. If I was to repaint my grand prix white car, I'd go with that grey color scheme.
I've got mine in storage right now back in SC, but if the weather is nice, I'll be itching to get it out on the road.

Thanks for the comments guys. This isn't Cali, but we can't complain too much about the weather here.
